My name is James Cates. I live in Michigan with my wife, Theresa, and extended family,
I work at a locally owned carton manufacturer as a general laborer. I attend Crossroads Missionary Church and play on the worship team. I play the acoustic, electric and bass guitars (all self-taught) and the flute. I have also played the clarinet and saxaphone.
So why write? I was looking for an avenue to increase our family income. It’s hard in today’s economy to find a part-time job. But everyone likes to read. I myself have been enjoying Frank Peretti and Ted Dekker. In the past I was really into Stephen King and John Grisham.
